There is a bunch of stuff which needs to be done here, and I have been researching it online. I need to register my small business with the State of Michigan for a Limited Liability Company. I need to probably get a Doing Business As ( DBA ) from Macomb County. I need to get a Dunn and Bradstreet Number for my company. I need to file my information of incorporation. I need to hire a registered agent service to protect that I don’t use my home address. I need to fill out a form to create my Privacy Policy ( I intend to use Google Services for all of my backend stuff – but even Google requires that I do all of the above before I can sign up to get all this backend stuff going ). I found a woman called “Back Office Bestie Llc” here in Sterling Heights. There is a lot too this, but I intend to make this work no matter the effort, because I now have AI at my side – which previously I never had someone else like this to help me. The AI will do it’s best to answer all my questions when I ask them I’m sure. The Privacy Policy that this webpage is about is actually 1 thing that Google and Android Apps and the Google Play store are the most careful about. The webpage I link in the discussion suggests hiring an expert for somewhere between $200 to $1000 for a one shot. My web research says you can do it yourself for little to no cost. This all comes down to risks. Like the refunds page that the webstore requires when you set up the Woo Storefront. Having the actual correct information there I’m sure is very important to ensure that you cover what is necessary. As for my Android App, I really don’t intend to have a storefront and sell merch online. I suppose that Google Play has some return/refund policy for the Google Play store and I intend to use whatever policy I can find there. This is where the assignment you required during the class of finding a web Privacy Policy and linking too it and reading it and summarizing the information contained therein was so necessary. I guess I better go back and look at my answer there.

I’m not sure what my annual costs are going to be to make all this work, but I hope that it as small as possible. I guess it might be as high as $1000 per year just for all the paperwork and requirements. Best to figure that out now. My sister owned her own business and had to file taxes every 3 months. I hope I don’t go there, but that might be necessary. The important thing is to declare your costs and your income, and then I guess let the tax man do their worst.

My biggest complaint is that I was hoping that I could charge a ridiculously low price for my Android Game in the Google Play Store, like $0.25 or something. But so far everything is pointing to that such a price is absolutely not possible. Between all of the expenses and such, the price has to be over $3.00. I’m hoping to stay away from being over $5.00. But learning all this stuff is an eye opener. But hey, this is something I always wanted to do, so now that I have the AI to guide me, I feel more confident plowing ahead.

Finally, is my promise about no advertising. I really really want to keep that promise. The way that Google Play Store Games work, it may be very hard to keep that promise. It may actually cost me money to give to Google so that these things don’t show up in my App. I want a 1 price up front to the downloaders of my App with no DLC or freemium or any other form of asking for additional money after purchasing the app. I realize that this may keep lots of casual browsers away from my App, but I hope to keep this promise to my users.
